West Side Story is a film,in Mahattan, of a war between two gangs,the sharks and the jets and a loves story between a girl called Maria who belong to the sharks and the feuding of her brother, Tony .A fter the party ,the two gangs prepare a fight . Anita , who are engaged to Bernardo ,told to Maria the fight .Marie ask to Tony to prevent the fight from happening.Yet, when he arrives the fight are alredy start ,he tried to stop the quarrel but bernardo slays Riff and Tony slays Bernardo.At the end of the film ,chino shoot Tony and he died.
On the one hand I like the story of this film because to my mind the love story between Maria the sister of Bernardo who are the chef of the Sharks and Tony,the chef of the other gangs the Jets .I appreciate the fight between the two gangs .
But on the other hands ,I didn't like the film because it was a musical ,and I don't appreciate the songs and the end of the film was a sad when tony died and Maria threatened to kill everybody in order to stop the fight between the two gangs.
