ANTaR is an organization which helps Australians to get:

* justice for Indigenous peoples

* the right to be themselves, to enjoy their cultures, languages, laws and traditions

* to have their rights to land and cultural heritage respected and protected.

The Indigenous flag was officially adopted on July 14th, 1995 , but it was used since July 12th, 1971,the year during which the aboriginal artist Harold Thomas drew it.
