Sea of hand - Deloste florian

Antar: Sea of hand /Deloste florian

The first Sea of Hands was held on the 12 October 1997. 70,000 coloured plastic hands, each one carrying one signature from the Citizen's Statement, were installed in front of Parliament House in Canberra.

Why is Antar here?
ANTaR is here because more than ten years ago Indigenous leaders recognised that to achieve justice for their people, they needed to gain support for their cause from non-Indigenous Australians.

So Antar is here to get justice against racism between indigenous and white people!

Aboriginal flag

The Aboriginal Flag was designed by Harold Thomas an Aboriginal, in 1971. The flag was designed to be an eye-catching rallying symbol for the Aboriginal people and a symbol of their race and identity. black represents the Aboriginal people, red the earth and their spiritual relationship to the land, and yellow the sun, the giver of life.
So this flag was created to explain their race and identity! Each part
of the aboriginal flag says something on the Aboriginal people or their spiritual relationship.
