The article talks about the electric car of the future. It says that 2009 was the year the world embraced the electric car because several car companies have been investing in this infrastucture, the boldest experiment is taking place in Israel , where a company called Better Place convinced the government to install 500,000 electrical charging points for cars. Renault-Nissan wants to use its new-range system of battery-powered vehicles. The innovative aspect is to remove the battery which is today's car and replace it with a fully-charged one, an operation which lasts 3 minutes, the time needed to fill a tank. BYD, a Chinese company, has planned to dominate the car industry of the future.
