"India's snake charming school"JAMGHILI

In India, children learn the art of how to handle cobra.
They begin their education at the age of two .

Members of India's 600 strong Vadi tribe:
Vadi tribe is a tribe which lives in South of India.Never staying in one place for more than six months, the Vadi have an almost mythical attachment to snakes and especially cobra.
In this tribe the Boys become fully-fledged snake charmers after ten whereas the girls learn to be able to care for the snakes when the tribe's males are not with them.

For the Vadi tribe this relationship is a source of great pride for them.

¨They put them????

In this photo we can see Recka Bae who is six years old .

Being a few feet away from a poisonous snake has a wonderful way of concentrating the mind..
