Rabbit Proof Fence ( by Jawed )
In 1931, in a small place called Jigalong in Western Australia, Molly, her little sister Daisy and their cousin Gracie were born to a white father.
They were kidnapped ( = abducted ) by a policeman working for the Chief Protector of Aborigines and they were sent to Moore River School.
There the authorities cared for half-caste children only. There they were forced ( = obliged ) to speak English and learn the christian faith and its customs or traditions.
They are planning to run away. They travelled 1200 miles, that is to say 1920 km.

Quentin Tarantino (Nagyme Mbaraka)
Quentin Tarantino desperately needed success because of the critical and commercial flop of Death Proof in 2007. However the reaction at Cannes to Inglourious Basterds, his latest movie, was devastating negative. Kill Bill had been criticized as self-indulgent and vacuous and then the failure of Death Proof. The low point came when Tarantino was seen in a bar, talking drunkenly to himself. His determination to establish himself as an actor was ridiculed. Quentin Tarantino was saved by the "Twitter-effect". Fans who liked Inglourious Basterds "Tweeted" to their friends, family telling to ignore the negative reviews. The effect was immediate, it became clear that Inglourious Basterds was going to be the biggest success of Tarantino's career. Having come back from the brink, Tarantino is determined not to lose the momentum. He wants now to create movies that deal with America's horrible past. Now that Tarantino was saved by the Internet he has definitely regained his confidence back.
Quentin Tarantino's movies:
Reservoir Dogs Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction Kill Bill:Volume 1 Et 2

This town is very welcoming, so many people come to live here or to study, to have a brighter job. It mixes different ethnics and the main language is English. Indeed this city has often been voted as one of the world's best place to leave! It offers many opportunities as well as many hobbies with Nature, Ocean and mountains too.

But this city has its dark secret too! In the neighbourhood of Lower East Side there are many gangters and gangs. And the State is frightened that it might cause trouble during the Winter Olympics!

Hugh Jackman (Lise)
I chose an article dealing with the sexiest actor in Hollywood today. This actor, Hugh Jackman, 41 years old was born on the 12th of October in 1968 in Sydney, in Australia.
For instance, he plays in Australia at Nicole Kidman's side, as an Australian drover. In this famous film, Jackman helps a noblewoman (Nicole Kidman) saving her husband and protecting a half-caste child she found there.
"People Magazine" called him "Sexiest Man Alive". Otherwise, this actor is not just a sexy man: he is more than what people can see in films. He is very serious and intelligent. He has already played as a mutant hero (Wolverine, in the X-Men films), or in romantic comedies, dramas and action films !
Jackman won a Tony Award for his performance The Boy from Oz in the Broadway production in 2004.
A piece of his filmography:
1995: Correlli (he plays the main role)
2000: X-men (as Wolverine)
2001: Kate and Leopold (as Leopold. This film was nominated in Golden Globe Award for Best Actor)
2006: Happy feet (as Memphis' voice)
2006: X-Men: the last Stand
2008: Australia (as the drover)
2009: X-Men Origins: Wolverine (as the hero: Wolverine)
In 2011, Hugh Jackman will play in the second part of X-Men Origins: WolverineTuesday, January 19, 2010

Lilly Allen
Lily Allen, 23 years, was born in London, the daughter of the actor Keith Allen. Her 2006 debut album, Alright, Still, sold more than 2.5m copies. She does not want to marry. The person she most admires is Dolly Parton because she has her own theme park. What she most deplores in herself is her inability to carry out things she wants to do. What she most deplores in others is their being late. The thing she most dislikes in her appearance is her legs. Her favourite fancy dress costume is a mushroom. The worst thing anyone has ever said to her is "I'm not in love with you any more". Her guiltiest pleasure is googling herself. She doesn't want to tell about the love of her life because she thinks people would get upset if she didn't name them. Her biggest disappointment was the Brit Awards 2007. She loves relaxing with her dog at home. One of her secrets is that she won't get the Rolling Stones?????.
Leonardo DiCaprio (ESRA GUNGOR)
- Leonardo DiCaprio was born in Los Angeles in 1974 .
- He won several Oscars in 1993, 1997, 2002, 2007 and in 2008.
Leonardo DiCaprio has a problem. While most people estimated a successful comeback , DiCaprio got negative reviews because he took serious adult parts. Philip Franch says " DiCaprio is a superb actor who, hasn't yet quite become an adult".
When DiCaprio's boyish good looks were considered an advantage.
Combined with his acting skills and on-screen charisma, they helped him to become a famous actor, at a young age.
He has a ??????? at 19 . Four years later he went up in ?????? with "Titanic" in 1997 and he showed that he had a ?????talent, but ?????????. which is problem.
DiCaprio says that this film changed his life, but he had other opportunities too. This film took control of his career.
?????????would like to work with directors such as Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese.

Elvis Presley - Benjamin T.
Crucially it is on the banks of the Mississippi river (the route by which peopleand goods moves northwards from New Orleans) that America's music and geography combined quite so
effectively as in the case of Memphis, Tennessee.
Confluences of culture
All the black jazz and blues musicians coming up from the South came to Memphis. They worked easier in the bars of Beale Street (the mayor of Memphis closed them down to stop street's prostitution and drug trade; so the musicians further north).
Sam phillips was a local music producer with
a tiny record label called Sun Record. He
enjoyed some succes recording such as BB King.
But his ambition was to introduce the black rythm and
blues (R&B).
One day, the young Elvis Presley came to Sun Record, Sam saw immediatly his potencial. He could sing all the kind of music with egal ease. All days long, he recorded Elvis but he was not happy with the result.
Elvis, in the night, began joking with the musicians and sang with them a black R&B song called "That's alright mama" in a high-speed manner that mixed country influences.
He found the sound he was looking for: Rockabilly !!!
Elvis rocks a nation
The combination of his vocal talent, good looks and
outrageous dance moves did more than introduce a new music in the world. He was the first pop phenomenon, the first whose music divided the country into groups, the old generation who were shocked by him and the young.
The age of rock, of youth rebellion expressed throught music, had begun ... and the world would never be the same again.

This article is from "Today" magazine. It's written by Rupert Morgan. Its title is "welcome to the future"
This article deals with a great innovation for disabled people and soldiers. It is named HAL-5.
This scientific discovery aims at helping people who cannot walk very well. It's composed of robotic limbs and a little box with a battery. The system works with a computer.
On the photograph, we can see a Japanese man who wears the robotic suit. The robotic suit is strapped on his leg.
This device is controlled by thought. When HAL detects slight nerve signals in the skin it converts them into movement. That device will also be used by American soldiers.
"The Women" Méline SANNICOLO
What is so special about this film is that not a single man appears in two hours until a newborn baby at the very last minute.
STORY : The central character is clothing designer Mary Haines, who lives in a beautiful country home with her wealthy financier husband and their 11-year-old daughter. Her best friend Sylvie Fowler is the Editor of a prominent fashion magazine, a woman who dictates the latest in taste and style for New York City fashionistas. When Mary's husband becomes involved with Crystal Allen, a perfume salesgirl in Saks Fifth Avenue, her friendship with Sylvie is put to the test. Everyone in their close-knit circle of friends, including the ever-pregnant Edie Cohen and author Alex Fisher, begins to question their loyalty to each other and their romantic involvements.
The critics are not really enthusiastic . They say it is not funny, and absolutely not realistic.
